No but I’ve been Violated by a couple KTM’s. But I learned from my mistakes. Let you guys buy them.
Spice the track up
An environmentalist, cool.
Now you've done gone and used facts to ruin a perfectly good "discussion".
No , Daddy No.
I understand and I get it, RD was always consistent and it paid off, but he's just a rare guy. Riders like Hannah, Johnson, and Carmichael rode to win and pushed it to be the fastest. Hell, they went out and beat everybodys ass when the had titles already won and they didnt need to. They had that racers will to beat everybody. Never saw that in Dungey. Just different.
Glad ti see he's pumped for the MXoN's. Dont see that very often anymore.
I feels ya guy.
But, the only time I can think of someone getting a asterisk or something, was if the season was shortened, or if a guy went undefeated.
Besides that, imo, a Championship is a Championship.
Ryan Dungey has 39 career AMA Motocross wins in the 450 Class, second only to Carmichael. For comparison’s sake, Villopoto and James Stewart have 32—combined.
Dungey has 69 podiums in the 450 Class, again second overall to RC’s 84.
Dungey was not as good on a 250 as Stewart on the 125 or RV on the 250F, but he did get seven more wins and 22 podiums.
Dungey won four AMA Motocross titles, three on 450s, one on the 250. But he finished runner-up three times on the 450 and once on the 250. And let’s not forgot he was also part of three Motocross of Nations wins.
Off the track, Dungey was the first motocross athlete to win an ESPY. He actually won two (2015 and 2016) in the Best Male Action Sport Athlete category. He also became the only motocross rider to grace the cover of the Wheaties box.
Good to see that he has perspective and want’s to race for his country. A breath of fresh air over Tomac’s attitude and it being beneath him to race the MXoN.
Dont forget Dungey bailing on it too.
Maybe should give some credit towards Dungey being part of the winning team three times and I don’t remember how many they did not win...maybe two?
They lost when Eli joined Dungey in 2014.
Interesting but James Stewart ran the fucking table on the 450 in 2008.
this is about as perfect as you can put it.
Yep - but he had to wait for the GOAT to retire before he could pull that off.
