Probably won't be coming to the US but Honda is upgrading its Super Cub and making it a 125cc.

I loved my Super Cubs and I would love to own a C125 model.

"The design of the Honda Super Cub C125 is a combination of form and function. The moped features an “S-shaped line” from the leg shield to the rear fender, which is symbolic of the Super Cub’s design language. The lighting system is all-LED, and the single seat is finished in red. The instrument cluster is an analogue-digital combo unit. The C125 features a smart key and an electric seat opener also."

The engine is a 125cc single cylinder air-cooled OHC unit. The 17-inch cast alloy wheels come to a halt using a front disc and a rear drum brake. ABS is present as well. Suspension bits include telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers.

Honda is also releasing a special Super Cub 110 to commemorate its milestone of 100,000,000 models sold. Sweet.

I am sure Honda would say they won't be offered in the US because they know it won't sell enough. Of course, that's patently true. But I would love to hear Honda say why they won't sell in enough in the US.

Regardless of them not selling enough in the US one would also have to consider these bikes would, in the US, satisfy 50 percent of people's transportation needs 50 percent of the time, maybe more. That would cut into selling other bikes, Civics, CRV's, Accords, etc.,

I'm glad they kept the chaincase, lot of maintenance savings right there.

    My 1968 version with a 125 cc engine..[IMG]

Going to pick one up here in Vietnam. I have a Honda Airblade for the wife, a Kawasaki Versys 300x for me but a Cub 110 would be my toy.

    You never know...

    Honda might surprise us.

    I'd definitely get the C125.

Years ago, Honda made the "Solo". Looked like a bobber soft tail,50cc. You ordered frame color, tank color, seat color and various accessories. They did make them for overseas, but not for the u.s. I though they could have sold here, but when there are only a few thousand vs. Several million customers, the economics don't make sense, not to mention all the loopholes and liabilities.

I had a 1980 version of that bike. I think it was a 70cc Passport. Regret selling it. I’d like to have that in the 125cc version.

Both of those are beautiful. Simply, absolutely beautiful. Cub's are classics that have continued to sell in such incredible numbers for many decades for a reason(s)! :raabia
