I have a question for you Tallahasseeins and thought this would be the best place to post it. If there is a more suitable location for this question please let me know.

I have recently purchased a 1995 Honda XR250R. I was told the bike was originally purchased in Tallahassee at the Cycle Shop by someone named Darren Thompson. I think the bike was tagged at that time because it has lights and two little bolt holes in the rear fender presumably for a tag. I bought it with a bill of sale, but had hopes of finding the title and re-tagging it.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Good luck with that...lots of loop holes. If that was the one for $900 on Craigslist, you got a heck-of-a-deal. That thing looked mint.

There is a better way to plate that thing...much easier way, at that. PM me for info. (totally legal!).

Well after 6 long months I finally got my harley put back together and finished up... only 50 miles on the rebuild but she's good.

Anyone want to ride before I move back to Houston, TX in a few weeks?

I've sent out a couple of pm's over the past month or so to folks here that I haven't met. I've been ignored. Maybe they want to meet and ride, maybe not. I don't really care. I enjoy riding alone as much as with others.

I'll ride ride with ya'. :DI'm available weekends.

2 weeks from now, I'll finally be free more often than not for some riding. XR is apart again for summer tune up and new tires...rear knob started to chuck the other day. :evil

I was scheduled for an ANF ride today, but my scuba tank was on empty. So fukkitt.

But I'm happy to go about any time and I can keep up. More or less.

    Hey everyone,
I moved down from northwest Arkansas about 6 months ago and I am looking for some people to ride with or maybe just some recommendations on where to ride. I am used to riding hardwood forests with elevation ranges from 400' to 2500' so its a heck of a change. Im on a DRZ 400s that has been lightly modified. Thanks in advance.

I ride the ANF area often. There are 3 others I ride with often. We usually ride the Silver Lake area west and sometimes end up in Franklin County in the Tates Hell area. It would be great to meet some of the other adv riders in the area.

Back from Thunder Beach. I am officially available 5 days a week to ride now... I'm not going to go into the national forest though. On a tight budget and can't afford to push the idea of flat tires right now. :cry

Hmmmm. I think riding a Harley in the ANF would present some risks that would dwarf your flat tire concern.

TLH has a very active HOG chapter, but the ANF is something they ride around, but don't ride around in.
