Anyone up for an early season dual sport ride on Sat? I've got multiple loops out of Montebello, so there are easy, hard, wet and dry options. Maybe shoot for a 100 mile day in the dirt.

The forecast now is for temps in the 50s. Maybe a bit of water in the creeks, but who cares!

Make it Big bike friendly? 10am at the Montebello store on Sat?

I'm supposed to deliver bags of mulch in my pickup for the Boyscouts. My wife is handling this fund raiser. This is way more fun, I'll just kick 'em to the curb. Well, maybe not.

You should hit up some of the guys in the Valley thread too. They're usually up for lots of DS stuff..:thumb

I'm not sure what I've got going on this weekend. If I can work it out, I'll be there at 10.

If I bring the XT, is there anywhere to park a trailor?

Man I'd love to join you but I'm already committed to riding to the Highland County Maple Festival w/ Dad and boss. Make sure to take plenty of pics. I will drop a mention of this on the Valley Inmates Thread.

There is plenty of parking at the store, just ck in with the folks inside to be sure.

The Shoe Creek/Indian Creek Rd loop is my favorite route, but Shoe Creek might be pretty high this weekend.

We can could also do a ride down to Big Island. All routes flexible

Crabtree Falls Hwy is now on Google Street View so you can literally drive this beautiful ribbon from behind your desk :D

    I'm in.

Just contemplating which tires to use now....

Extremley worn down TKC80 with a completely slick (flush tread) center but knobs on the edges, or a new sport tire without any deep tread with which to begin?

I'm not getting any traction either way on straights...

Cool! I'd probably hit it on Sunday, but I'm sure there's still mega-crap on it right now.

How do you make that map work? It will move slowly, frame by frame by clicking on the arrow. Is there a better way?

As long as you're oriented with the road, you can use your arrow keys to travel the road. Up and down to travel, left and right to look around or turn around.

It takes a little time to render the image and will depend on your internet connection speed as to how long that is...

    Faster on a bike!

    Pretty cool... :thumb

Man, I'd love to meet today. I was down there on Thursday but the rain ended up sending me scurrying home. Have a great ride.
