3-Day Ride to the Great Salt Lake, 2012

    Nice RR and pics as usual!! What do you think your pavement vs gravel/dirt percentages were for this trip? Also, did you use gps to guide you, old school paper maps or have you ridden this area enought times already that you knew your way around?

    Thank you, gentlemen. :D I haven't figured out the dirt/pavement percentages for this trip, but the ride back from Ogden, Utah, to Grace, Idaho, was mostly off road. In terms of time, rather than miles, I estimate the trip from Ogden to Grace was about 80 percent off road.

    I was well familiar with most of this route. However, I did add some new areas where I had not ridden before. Therefore, I planned the new segments of my route using maps. When necessary, I confirmed I was on the correct route using my GPS receiver.

    The Highline trail from Logan Canyon to Soda Springs is some of the best.
    I still love it although they continue to convert it to atv width.
    Only one section of single track left from Egan Basin to Bloomington Lake.
