    What a great adventure.
I'm not a big fan of altered pics but I do like lots of pics and you have that covered!

Awesome RR, pics, and write up. Really enjoyed reading about the gear you used, too. Did you talk about the GPS you guys used or did I miss it? Any mobile (phone, etc) apps that were particularly useful?

Haha...completely forgot about the GPS. I had an ancient Garmin 478 that I loved. In the 3.5 days of rain it filled completely with water. After that I downloaded the Galileo app for $3.99 and used my phone the rest of the trip. Not bad for the price. Id love to pick up the new 276, but for the price the app is more my speed.

Thanks, @ricohman! Although they were not altered, just corrected. Its difficult to take the time for proper photo setup when you hanging onto the handlebar with one hand for most of the pics.

Please don't take that as an insult. I just find it a bit tiring to look at "corrected" pics when there are so many. But I do appreciate that there are many!
I have ridden nearly all the roads you have covered including the Dalton and I just got back from the Bear tooth pass and yellowstone. I must have been to Sturgis 20 times by now.
Your report brought back a lot of great memories of the Dalton and the Yukon.
But now that photobucket has my pics hostage under a $400 ransom nobody can ever see them again:(

We are working on several possibilities but to be honest, everything seems to pale compared to the northwest IMO.

Not counting short weekend trips, or even a week long trip. I'm planning for a Continental Divide ride, but it won't be for 2 more years.

Nice to be home but I can't help but read all the ongoing reports and wish I was still exploring. Hard to see everything in one trip and I know we had to skip some stuff because of time constraints - next time I want to do all we did and add in another 2 weeks of exploration.

Working on my gear evaluation while cleaning everything I took. Amazing how much cleaning and organizing there is to do!

Next time - could you take some more photos?

:lol3 Just kidding! You all took - and posted - lots of them, and that's what makes a great ride report when you've traveled through such scenic country. Makes it much easier for those stuck at home (and dreaming of their own future trips) to visualize what you experienced. A great trip, and great RR. Thank you all! :wave
