I'm not sure. Brian and I are supposed to be leading the GS ride again this year. I haven't really ventured out onto dirt on the new GS yet, and don't really want the first time out during an organized ride. I would be much more comfortable on my DRZ400 that I rode last year. Then again, I don't think this years GS ride is going to be as "dirty" as it was last year- we had some complaints about some (of the fun) sections.
Personally I was thinking about doing the road ride this year just to change things up...but I guess I'll have to see where the GS ride is going to take us and make a decision. I too am on a GS with Anakee 3's... Not the best tire for off road.

We have a good choice of movies for Saturday night during the bonfire. Tell me what you think we should show.

    On Any Sunday
    Dust to Glory
    Why We Ride
    Sit Stay Ride
    Worlds Fastest Indian

Keep in mind that there are both GS and road riders along with their families watching.

    Hello Ron_Ces
I can't seem to find the registration form/pdf file on the website. I also didn't see the PayPal link:scratch
Is $55 for pre-registration only? How much @ event? Also how about the New Sweden 450 participants discount?
    Thanks in advance!

    It's on my calendar & looking good:freaky
    Hope to see you there:beer

Early registration is over, but you can still register day of event. And yes, you will get the 450 participant discount. :clap
PP will also be available at signup. Glad you are making the trip down.

The Jersey Devil originated at a house in the woods in Leeds Point, NJ(part of Galloway Township). Very close to our New Years lunch spot at Motts Creek.
The planned GS ride isn't going anywhere near there unfortunately. Not much good riding over that way anyway.

I heard through a local source that the JD moves throughout the woods and marshes of south Jersey, and although he originated in the Leed's Point area, he has been spotted further south in the area we will be riding.

    I swear......

What time do the rides leave Saturday a.m?
Is there a pavement ride planned also?
Might not make it there until 10 a.m. on Saturday. Will anyone still be around to register/etc?
    Thanks in advance!
Hope to see y'all this weekend:beer

yes - there is a pavement ride that usually visits cool landmarks in south Jersey. I am not sure when it departs.

Supposedly the GS ride is leaving at 8am(according to Brian). We'll see if the "crew" is awake and ready by then. The road ride(the last time I road it was 2-3 years ago) and it left at 8-9am. Need to get back in time for the field games.

Thanks to everyone from ADVRider who made the trip down to SJ! We appreciate your support. The GS ride is getting better every year and it is nice to put a face to a name. See you next year and don't forget about the NS450 in May, 2018.
    Cheers.

Thanks Ron. And thanks to the club for all the hard work. My first time at the rally. Met a bunch of great folks!
GS ride was a great mix of surfaces with some cool water views. Let me know if photos or vids posted anywhere. Thanks again
