It was the big bike to Husky group that turned into the Death March.....:lol3 2 riders ended up in a Jeep and 2 bikes had to be recovered.

Yeah, we lost 2 (B & E), gained 1 (Kicknback), then found 1 (B), who then found comfort on the back of a bike......................

We could do a suicide ride in Juniper Flats.... that's the area I'm riding (working) in now. Serious single track hill climbs, sand, endless whoops.

And, to keep it interesting, barbed wire across "closed" trails courtesy of local tree huggers :finger.

I like the looks of that Bill!

We also could redo the Bhavesh and Emmi bike killer ride. Kramer to Husky to Jberg to something fun back. I want to get a couple of 150+ mile rides in before Pahrump and LAB2V. Anybody up for that?

You are the local, pick a weekend and they will come.

I like the loop you gave us for the HW ride back in the Spring, it was a great mix of stuff.

lol "A man's got to know his limitations!"... and believe me, I know mine... and much of it is not pretty :rofl

I would love to do more rides with everyone!! Soon as I get some time... I've just been swamped with a project I'm working on. Even had to cancel my summer BDR plans... which really sucked. But thanks to that I have a brand new unused set of GoldenTyre's sitting here waiting to be mounted and made dirty. Hoping that Pharump will be the place. That was so much fun last year.

Worst case I will be at Horizons Unlimited this coming week. Is anyone else going? So looking forward to getting away for a few days!!! Boy do I need it. If you're interested I'll be giving a talk on Best Practices for Moto-Camping in Bear Country on two of the days...

Rough plan is to camp in Mineral King, Kings Canyon, and the John Muir Wilderness on the way there...

I'm in for this. Hopefully not too soon though, I'm recovering from minor hand surgery for at least another 4 weeks.

I haven't been on a bike in 5 days. :becca

Mineral King is pretty cool. Rode out there with a group for a easy day from Camp Nelson. Way scenic. Hiker's paradise....

It's beautiful out there. Love sleeping under the Sequoias. Love all the wildlife too. Before I even got to the campsite I saw silver foxes running along Mineral King Rd... also had a way too-long stare down with a very large black bear! Definitely an oh shit moment! lol

thanks stu for the payment and i see you're riding the killer KLR this time.

folks on the fence. we only have about 3 weeks left before we close the list. you may still join after the deadline but you won't get in the free saturday night dinner and 1-raffle ticket. we have cool raffle prizes from mosko and others.
