So, incase anyone isn't on NBDSC, we are having our annual Spring Kicker on April 20th. It will be an amazing weekend of camping, bench racing, good food, and of course RIDING! We will have a dirtbike run AND a coastal run for the bigger bikes aswell. Sunday we have a more challenging run for those who can't get enough, so there are no excuses to miss this.

Location: Grand Bay New Brunswick. Will update when confirmed

When: April 20th, 2013. Come set up camp on Friday, Ride starts 10 sharp Saturday morning.

I'm hoping this will be the biggest Kicker yet so you FFs better be there!

You sure there won't still be 4 feet of snow on the ground. I had high hopes for global warming but I have lost faith! Where is Al Gore when you need him?

Usually the coastal areas thaw out a bit quicker than inland, that's the main reason we chose that location. We just got a bunch of warm weather and rain so that should get a good start on things, although I wouldn't be surprised if there were residual ice patches here and there but whatever. That's what the Kicker is all about; getting out early and punishing ourselves and our bikes!

Riding along the south east NB coast yesterday there's still plenty of snow around but Southwestern NB has almost none at this point. :D

The Weather Network's "spring weather conditions" forcast sounds encouraging and there's more than a month to go before the kicker:

    Atlantic Canada
Near normal temperatures are in store for western Newfoundland and eastern parts of PEI and Nova Scotia, while New Brunswick, the Bay of Fundy, western PEI and eastern Newfoundland can expect milder than normal temperatures. Precipitation amounts will be near normal for the entire region.

Is there a dual (sport) reason this date was chosen? :lol3 :lol3
