Had my Trophy out for a 460 mile day over 4 states. Ran a bunch of back roads in PA, MD, WV and VA. Route 33 in WV and VA is a ton of fun! Got to check out Seneca Rocks and Champe's rocks in WV.

I work nights and every other weekend so I really only get every other Sunday to ride any length of time. I make the most of it.

    Thanks!!

Sometimes I do get to sneak out on a work day or my single day off during the week, if you think about it... I work 11-7:30 so I already worked away part of the day, that's when I take my KLX out.

Lotsa good roads around here! I ran some of 522 yesterday , from McClure to Hancock, then went west to Cumberland. I didn't see any trophies though.

    Thanks for the pics.

Lots of familiar views from my old favorite riding area of WV. I have since retired from riding, but I still travel those roads. (Though now in a 20-year-old Honda Civic)

If you like WV riding, you may get some ideas at my website I did when I was still riding: www.RidingWV.com

Thanks for sharing your photos. Safe travels to you.

McClure PA? If you rode that route, you were right near my house in Huntingdon County, near Mt Union PA.

Thank you! I love WV. If you don't like the scenery, ride a mile and it changes. It's a beautiful state. I ride WV (and Western MD) as often as I can. I didn't ride that way much this year until now. I concentrated on Northern PA this summer for some reason. I plan next summer on riding Route 6 in Northern PA from Matamoras PA/NY border to Linesville PA/OH border. After that it's Rt 250 from Wheeling to just south of Harrionburg VA. Safe travels to you too.

Yep, rode right through Mt Union on the way home! I ran 22, 305, 655, then 522 to McClure and had bean soup for lunch. My wife suggested Puccini restaurant near Cumberland for dinner ( wood fired oven pizza) so we headed south on 522 into MD, then combined scenic 40, 144, and 68 to head west. After supper it was 220, 56, and back roads to get home to South Fork. 320 miles but only 2 states.
