Note .. For anyone who missed this post a few pages back.
The Cart will be there on Thursday with just a limited menu on that afternoon n evening.
Also we have added Angus Hamburgers to the cart ....
For these that are not into Hotdogs or BBQ , Nachos..
And yes Strawberry shortcake will be at the cart ALL weekend...
I wish I could say "yes", but family members who are retired, have no schedule, etc, have decided that this would be the best time for us to visit them. The last week has been nothing but screaming, crying and teeth gnashing...
Never mind we have had plans for the Norton Rally for several years, they decided at the last minute without consulting us what we should be doing.
"You'd rather go to a motorcycle rally than spend time with your family?"
Can you tell I'm pissed....
Mutiny, I'd go with out right mutiny.
Compromise. Have each family member buy a Norton and a tent. Problem solved
I'm not going to be able to make it this time. I was hoping I could work it out but doesn't look like it's in the cards.
I should be there Thursday, so IN for Saturday night dinner.
Fortunately, it's my wife's side of the family that is the problem. So I am gong to the Norton rally, no matter what. Her mother hates bikes, and I keep suggesting we go to the rally, and my wife rides over to visit her family one day on her Norton by herself.
That should really set her mother off, and I would never have to worry about these issues again.
After all, her mother thinks my wife would have grown up by now, married a doctor, had 2.75 kids, and wouldn't do crazy stuff like motorcycles or whitewater kayaking if she had never met me.
It sounds like you're a good influence
Oh the irony. My husband's parents feel the same about me....I don't give a rip anymore.
In....and looking forward to it!
You gonna get off that couch and force me to wake up with a headache??
I'm in. Arriving Thursday. Put me on the list for Saturday dinner. I hate missing a meal!
Where are you crossing the border?
Gananoque, as usual. I did a really nice back roads route home from my last byob that I really liked. Shall I stop by your place for a tea?
Stop by .
Tea bags in stock.
Looking forward to a recounting of the Dawson City trip.
