I know there is already the sunday church ride thread and weekend ride thread but I have not seen anything for a ride this long weekend. Dont know but Sat seems to be the day I have open and was lookin to see if anyone was doing anything in particular.

This will be a TE-510 ride for myself just lookin for some ideas.

Maybe hit somthing around the cahone area?

Cajon....that's a good riding place, which I still have to explore, and the high elevation makes it cooler to ride.

I like to but a pulled shoulder muscle from a fall last Sat put me out this long weekend.

Have fun and leave the fireworks at home! :lol3

Thats the rub at this point noplace since I dont know whom is interested.
Since I am planning to take the TE I will have to truck it if I do the Cahone or such. I have a buddy that lives at the top so that would make lake silverwood etc a possibility as well.

I'll be in San Marcos all night, but I'm trying to talk mama in to coming home tonight. I'll keep my eye on this thread, and if I get home at a decent hour and can get up early, I'll see you guys there.

OK, I'm home, I'm hung over, but I'm ready to ride and I see no time or place for a meeting and ride. It's already 6:30 and it will take me over an hour to load - gas up - and drive out. Not happening?

John, here's an idea. Just kick-it today. Cook a big 5th of July breakfast. Or go back to bed, whatever you want. Then tomorrow morning jamb out to my place & do a little loop starting in the hi-dez then up to the mountains & back.

    Bob knows the place

Dualsport. There's about 15 miles total of pavement. Bob's done some of it on the KLR (see photo)

    Where is that!
Looks like a waterfall minus the water and just the FALL part.

It be pretty damn hot out here so best bet is to get up the mountain.
I'm working on my 6th trip to home depot and have home improvement issues so I'm out.

Sam, heard you stopped by sorry I missed you I was probably at the home repo again :bluduh

Next week I'll be back in full effect.
