Some of the wiring has come loose (out of its socket) on the headlight/horn switchgear side. Does anyone have experience
with how those attach? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Each of the wires has a tiny ring terminal on it, which is in turn held to its proper switch terminal with a very tiny little screw. You need a surgeon's fingers to do it.

Thanks Jonny, I thought there must be something that holds the wires in.
I dont see any screws yet, maybe I need to tear it down further.
How do I access the screws? Do I pull the circlip that holds the horn
button in? Anything to watch out for in doing that, like springs flying out?
Thanks again for any help on this.

I finally took everything apart. Mine are soldered to brass ferrules pressed into the plastic housing.

I was going to chime in here and tell you how I fixed mine. The small screw that holds the switch actuator in has to be removed then you can push out the switch plate using the wire from the back, then re solder what needs to be re-soldered. This of course for those who read this in the future....As you already figured it out.

Well....in the process of handling this old switch several other OLD and BRITTLE wires decided to break at the base of the ferrule.
So it a rebuild and clean up some of the wiring.
Does any body have a source for the wire loom sleeve from the switch to the bucket? Mine was maybe 6" of sleeve and the rest elec. tape.
I'd like to clean up this mess while I'm into it. I'd like to avoid shrink tube if I can help it.
