Long Hunter State Park
Visited Radnor Lake State Park (http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=843432) and the Bicentenniel Capitol Mall State Park (http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=843412) on Thanksgiving Day.
Aldntn, the Bicentenniel park was everything you said it was and more. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for the great ride reports. Another State park I knew nothing about (until now). I've updated the list above to link to the two separate areas. One day I'll have to learn how you do this from within an existing thread.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for lookin' at 'em.
I do have a request though; If you would, go ahead and pull the RR for Nathan Bedford Forrest SP, or mark it as incomplete.
Even by my (low) standards, that one is pretty half assed. I'll have to return in the spring and do a proper "full assed" ride report.
I did as you asked. I don't judge the reports, I just post them. I figure if no one criticizes my stuff then they are a pretty tolerent crowd.
I've had one for a while, but only found one place that had the stamp. Fall creek falls looked at me like I was retarded when I asked about it.
Don't feel bad, they probably mistook you for me as most people look at me like I'm retarded.
I dunno, this one is pretty bad.

Mid 60's out here in West TN this weekend...Who's going where when?
I feel this is one of the best kept secrets. It is near Brushy Mountain State Prison (now closed). This is where James Earl Ray set on death row.
Follow the link to see a couple of pic's of the area. http://unclescar.shutterfly.com/pictures/8
There is a little breakfast restraunt (name escapes me) that is fantastic.
I've got some off time next week and thinking of doing a rr. Are there any specifics needed other than take a lot of pictures?
That's all I do...Mine are bad though.
I may try that when it warms up further east.
I'm picking up where I left off in 2012. Heading back to Nathan Bedford SP (Eva, TN) this Saturday for some over-nite moto-camping. Brrr.
Glad to see you guys posting here and planning the next State Park trip. Nothing special required except to do a typical ride report and send me the link. I'll connect it to this page and we can all enjoy.
I've taken a couple of rides to Florida in the past couple of months but didn't take pictures, just spent the time with my brothers riding. Anxious to do some of our State Parks now. Might try to slip over to East Tennessee and take in a couple of their places.
Planning? I rushed right out because I overheard someone say the word "spring"
3/8/2013 Nathan Bedford SP Ride Report
I don't think Spring can make up it's mind. But a great ride report with all the key elements: Motorcycle, camping, cooking, cold weather and rain.
Thank you, I appreciate that. Just out of curiosity have any of you guys checked out the new TN reservation system?
I didn't know they had the online part until you mentioned it. Looked at it briefly and seems straight forward. Nice to be able to see availability and make a reservation without having to call. Looks like only 6 of the parks are online right now.
I hope to make a ride up to Fall Creek Falls this Saturday if it's not too chilly. My brother purchased a Sportster Trike and I picked it up for him last weekend. I get to play with it until I deliver it to him at the end of the month. Anyone that wants to go is welcome to join me.
I made a ride to Fall Creek Falls yesterday and there's a new ride report up at:
Standing Stone and Burgess Falls State Parks
