Just curious if you would pull the trigger and buy another one.
My 2012 690R has been flawless so far with almost 2,000 miles of street, dualsport, adventure and single track use.
Enduro R 2011
18000 km in one year and I'm still exited.
Enduro with smc wheels for the hooligan in you.
For sure would be another one. Love my 09 690r!
For sure , best all rounder for me
Can't have just one.
Yep, 2012 model, no problems at all. I would have another in a flash.
I've had the odd problem or 2 with my 2012 but hell yes i love this bike
Ask me at the end of another riding season.
But realistically, I'd most likely say yes.
I have a 2012 690 e
They need a true Adventure version of the 690 IMO.
I would like a dash!!!!
I would up date to a 2012 but swap out the suspension for my current sus
Nothing matches the 690 for lightweight, grunty agility.
Never ceases to put a $hi# eating grin on my face!
I own two 690's
a 2008E and a 2011R
Such an awesome platform for so many riding styles. And, my dog, the power is simply addictive. If ever there was a bike that flips a switch in a rational man towards "hooligan", its this bike for me...
As theres still nothing else out there that is better suited for my riding requirements, yes I would buy another 690. If someone were to make a 590 adventure things might change in an awfull hurry though.
There really just aren't any other choices if you want a powerful lightweight large bore dual sport.
I had one. It suited me for a while, but now I have a 950 Adventure and a 530XC-W. Id buy a 690 [if] KTM would make it into an adventurea smaller version of the 950 Adventure.
bike is just to big for me think I"m going to unfortunatly sell mine.
YES! got my hands on the 2013 model 3 weeks back. Loving it! No problems so far. Ez to work with.
Congrats guys! You'll both love them!
