It's perfect. No there won't be a lot of pavement, only as much as it takes to get from one forest road to the next basically. A few miles at a time. In total should be 20% or less of total mileage. should be less than 100 miles between gas stops (that's about all I can get with my 8L tank). But do like I do and carry a Giant Loop Gas Bag when needed! I'll probably carry it anyway, just in case someone might need it.

Kyle - I had been keeping my fingers crossed that I could make it, but family commitments will prevail this time.
I've ridden the area before, but was looking forward to a berg ride and learning more of the area.
Will definitely plan a stay at the Farmhouse in the future.
    Ya'll have fun!

At this point in my life middle school soccer is very important. With that said, I could do Friday ride. Would I be able to get in a ride of mostly single track? My bike (350xcw) isn’t that great for road miles. I may be able to bring 3-4 others.

Well as you know there are only 2 single track trails here, for a total of about 10 or 11 miles. But all my routes are planned to minimize road miles. The longest road miles I think I have "planned" for this weekend is 10-15 miles on the Cherohala (going down hill both directions, so that's a bit better on small bikes) twice so that we can get to/from the Squally area. Not sure which route on Friday yet, either over to NC to take in the Squally stuff, or head south to take in both Trail 81 and 82

huh, well no pics. Took some video yesterday, the sunlight was right in the camera so it looked like hell and my camera musta got bumped cuz the angle sucked anyway. Looking at the video from today, looks good. Turns out the rally was one Big Red Pig and me. Nobody from the 70° forum came, my friend with two Bergs bailed on Tuesday cuz of some other vehicle problems, and the guy on the BRP had his friend bail on him the day before. So we were two. We had fantastic weather and rode all the cool shit, sucks for you guys.
