Icon again doing all they can to make motorcycling look cartoonish and all about brands/branding vs riding. Their interpretation of a Main Force Patrol bike like Goose rode in Mad Max.

I actually think that is a pretty good interpretation of what a police force would be using in a post apocalyptic world. Probably more accurate than the KZ1100 Goose used in the movie.

That being said, I really really want to build a blacked and gold KZ1100 with the same fairing as Goose's MFP bike. I'd keep a 2 person saddle on it though and add in some aluminum panniers. I think it would make a really sweet retro/custom sport tourer.

I also have to admit, that if the world were to go the hell and I had to choose a motorcycle as my only means of transportation I would probably just go with a first gen KLR650. It probably is the ultimate post apocalypse motorcycle.

Nightrider: The Toecutter - he knows who I am. I am the Nightrider! I am the chosen one. The mighty hand of vengeance, sent down to strike the unroadworthy! I'm hotter than a rollin' dice. Step right up, chum, and watch the kid lay down the rubber road, ride to freedom!
Sounds funny after all these years...great movie BTW

Not sure if you guys are familiar with Stone. This is the movie that started it all for us way back in the seventies. Try to ignore the bad acting and strange accents....LOL!!
