A number of teething issues have been worked out and the idle is smooth.
Put a 200 miler on her before our latest floodwatch...
She starts well and has great torque. The tranny feels smooth. The rear drive weeps a tad through the view port gasket.
The Edgwife has the day free tomorrow and the weather looks good... maybe we'll get a "first" ride in for Lucia...

No excuse now for not doing the RTW trip. You have room for the wife, bed, dog, bar, toilet, & whatever else you might need. Get the old girl out there and start stretching her legs..................
The bike I mean, I don't know your wife.
She's a beauty alright..........again, I mean the bike. I'm sure your wife is lovely too..............
I'll shut up now.
Was that Paris? I wasn't able to make it this year, of course the weather was perfect. I heard the turn-out was a little bigger than usual.
LOVE the Morgan, that's just about the coolest thing I have ever seen.
Morgan still make the three wheeler here, doesn't have the JAP engine though. There are a few bike makers making specials with remanufactured JAP engines in the UK. This is an old site with some out of date links but there are some interesting bikes and more.
The New Morgan powered by a VTwin.
Buy it now for $42,000!
How about one powered by the new Guzzi 1400 motor?
That would be cool.
All is not roses.
Looks great in the Berkshire Medical Center Upper Parking Deck.
Rode about 100 miles to visit Cuzzin' Sam recovering from a devastating left leg motor cycle accident.
I get there and he's out like a light.... poor kid will never be the same...
So I return to the noble steed and she's dead as a doornail... battery drained...FAK!!!!
I replaced battery and rode home to safety only to discover one of the BIG terminals on B+ had disintegrated after only 43,000 miles.... POS!!!!!
Did I mention it's 96F at 8000% humidity???
There might be something to be said about a new wiring harness. I now have a pristine backup battery!!!
This is the trouble, parts just don't last anymore, I replaced my old black coil with a nice new Bosch blue coil this week, the old one was only 43 years old:huh
