Man, most amazing ride, not really sure what to say...
High Five-- awesome ride.
The ride was awesome and amazing. The droll narative and very good video work made it great to "ride along" --- from the warmth and safety of my house.
Those last quite a few flats had to be wrenching. Almost to the "just wanna get home... puff... puff...just wanna get home...puff."
Imagine how much ffffffun that ride would have been on a beemer.....
My hat is off to you sir. Great trip, well done commentary and excellent job filming. You are one tough ... And how secure in your manhood do you have to be to model leppard skin bras???
Yah....it got a bit nipply now and then.
I love the Trio soundtrack too...
Best trip review ever!
If there is an motorcycle adventure honor society.....you've more than made it
Never seen Northern Manitoba in such a way.
How are you going to top that one?
Top notch, very good ride and hats off to you!
You've captured, and experienced alot of the north and it's culture in a single ride. Remoteness, hardships, the struggles faced by youth, family, and working folk up there a "total package" of a trip, and videos very, very well done!!
Here's to the north....
I just got back from doing about 1000 miles in roughly 2 days of riding (all street, no snow/ice) and I'm still fatigued. I can't imagine the stamina required for this!!!
Loved the music selection as well.
And last but not least, is that a utili-kilt you're wearing?
I just forwarded the links to some friends and posted to another board in Germany. Part of what makes this trip great in my estimation ist that it was done not with the fanciest equipment available but with grit. Ride what you brung! Now my just completed weekend seems so... well.... boring!
Sir, your testicles were forged by the breath of ULLR.
Well done in a MAD sort of way. Helmet off to you.
Indeed it is...great for everyday wear.
Definitely a most excellent adventure, great video, great sound track and exceptional narration. I really enjoyed your trip. I was raised in Northern Saskatchewan and can fully appreciate the numbing cold that you undoubtedly experienced over and over. Hats off to ya Brokentooth!!!
Can't wait to see your next adventure!!
That my friend was awesome. Like a previous poster said. "I laughed, I cried and was inspired".
I rode across Canada in early April a few years ago, snow, rain, freezing rain but the coldest I saw was -9C and that was waaay better than the freezing rain I rode into at one point, but neither were nearly as unpleasant as -30C plus wind chill.
Great story and great narration. Thanks, and well done you!
Thanks Can-X. You're so right. I'll take dry and -9 over wet and +1 any day.
very cool trip
On your way home(owen sound) did you take 17 to the 400 then south ?
Or is their a way across huron in he winter I'm not aware of ?
Holy crap that was awesome!
Thanks for sharing this!
