So the motor has to be split to replace that seal right? Is there a specific tool I should get to split the cases, I have heard that the husky cases are easy to damage while splitting?? I guess while im doing all of this i should replace the other seals and clutch plates, as im sure none of that has been done in the last couple of decades. Is there anything else I should do while I'm in there? I really wanna go through everything this time as its a 30 year old bike and I dont think its had more than a top end replaced.
