Left the tag and headed home. Stopped to take a pic as I was entering Woodruff, SC.
Can't tell from this pic but I was stopped at a gas station fuelling up on Cracker Jacks and Pepsi.
Got back home and my 50 mile round trip somehow turned into a 100+ plus mile trip.:eek1
Can't figure out how that happened.
Turned the Zuma into a pack-mule today.
Thanks.I need some wiping paper.
I tried a couple of new things to try and get the fuel mileage up. I bought Ethanol Free fuel and eased waaaay up on the throttle.
Last 2 tanks game me 79 and 78 mpg. This is about a 10 - 12 mpg improvement.
The latest tank in regular gas so I will see how just the easy throttle effects the mileage when I fill up again.
easy take off made a big difference for me, 80MPG+ was seen a few times if I limited my take off and maintained a motion. Keeping away from major throttle adjustments makes a big difference also.
I am looking at loosing some of the weight, both me and the scooter
want an exhaust that is not to loud but lighter and may remove the front guard. small things, maybe a small windshield type thing for air flow. Riding position and all the other small things can make a collective difference.
full tug forum now!
78 mpg on the latest tank of regular gas.
I guess that means that throttle effects gas mileage more than Ethanol content in the gas.
Yes,but ain't it fun ride with the throttle pinned most of the time?
Took the Zuma out for a little fun.
cool pics man, were those all for tags?
how many miles on the zuma now!!
Having a second child hood is fun.
I took this pic last week. Just under 3k on the mileage. I know that is not really a lot but with a job, a wife, and 4 kids I don't get a lot of free time to ride.
