To answer most of your questions, yea I have done most of the fixes and repairs spoken here on Orange Crush.
The things I have always kept consistent with is, Warm my motor before riding and change the oil every 2,500 miles.

I seem to have slowed down a bit and only added ~10k in the last year.
'Quality instead of quantity' will be my excuse :augie

Very cool! :clap I almost don't want to know but what is the most major work you've had to do? I assume all the ussual stuff like water\fuel pump, clutch slave, etc. Anything more major that those?

Nice. I'm about 35,000 behind you. However, with the hell I have put my bike through I'm surprised its not a pile of parts. :lol3 Its been hit by a pickup, slid down Mexican asphalt at 70 mph, tumbled down rocky hill climbs quite a few times, ridden hard to the bottom of the world and back, buried in amazon mud bogs, and, well I better shut up now or I will never be able to sell it here. :lol3

The 9X0 has got to be the toughest big adventure bike out there, except for the SE of course.

Check back in at 100K! :deal That's great news, keep it up!

I've slowed up too. Did 20K my first year, now at 50K. The miles are coming more slowly, but are getting more and more gnarly...

Good going Aurel! I remember you did your 100K service here in Chile. Given your extravagant spending on tyres I am hardly surprised you only change oil at 10K you tight bastard :rofl

Hope all going well in SE Asia.

For the first 50K all it got was the Motorex. But since then I buy any synthetic 5-50 thru 20-50 that is on sale and I buy the cheap oil filter as well.

I made a mistake on my first post and corrected it. I use to change my oil every 2k mile, but after around 60k I started to change it every 2,500 miles

The deepest point of repairs would have to have been when I replaced the cam chains arround 80K.

Here is the conversion from mileage to Kilos. 90000 mi. = 144840.96 km

Please, guys, lets not turn this into a WHAT-DID-YOU-DO-TO-GET-90,000-RELATIVELY-TROUBLE-FREE-MILES-ON-YOUR-ADV thread. There are plenty of those here already!
