This would be my 3rd time on the parkway. The first time I didn't take enough vacation to do the whole thing. The second time we had to leave the parkway due to a combination of bike problems and bad weather. We ended up skipping some sections we had done the first year and getting back on the parkway and riding the southern sections we had missed the first year. This time my plan was to ride the entire parkway north to south and then head over and ride the Cherolhola Parkway to Tellico Planes TN. I would then retrace the ride back home south to north. Why the BRP? There's just something special to me about riding through the mountains for 469 (one way) miles with no red lights, stop signs or commercial vehicles.I didn't see one radar trap the entire 938 miles I was on the parkway. EDIT: I have expanded the RR to include subsequent trips on the BRP. I think I am up to 12 now.
