    Last pics were taken during the rain stop at Julian Price. It was raining so hard I could barely see, so I stopped and talked to the rangers for about an hour.

    Every time I catch your thread it reminds me of my trip doing the whole BRP. What a great road with so many fun diversions. You keep sharing these pics - I'll keep enjoying!

    The good thing about JP is that you get cell and data signal (verizon anyway). And as I discovered on this last trip you are only about 5 miles from blowing rock which has several restaurants etc.

    Good to hear..until this morning I didn't have service anywhere. I just crossed the NC/VA line and sitting in a picnic area eating a can of tuna...the good life huh ? Lol
