I find that as I get older I increasingly wish I was somewhere else.

haha I was reading the last posts about webcams. Don't get me wrong I don't have a bad job by any means.. Just would rather go where/when I want. I have been watching some youtube channels (cheaprvliving) about about people that RV and stay free on public land etc.

During my 4 day July BRP I noticed I wasn't comfortable after few hours. I think the main problem was that I had my high/low seat adjustment out of wack, but I figured it was a good time to try something new... So I will be using this for this years fall trip:

I am at that point where I start looking at the extended weather forecast along my route. That can drive ya nuts. I check weather.com and it makes me think the week is a wash out.. I check accuweather and it looks pretty good :dunno

"Please be advised that portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway are temporarily closed in anticipation of high winds and heavy rains from the remnants of Hurricane Nate. Saturated soils in combination with high winds in these areas increase the risk of rock slide and falling trees and debris. Check the Real Time road closures map for details: http://bit.ly/2y2GJEE

October must not be a good month for my Dad. He is in the hospital again. Still planning on leaving tomorrow morning for a few days on the BRP.

A heavy rain followed by a cold front down here. First couple of days were in the 70s today I spent most of the day in the 40s..burrr.
I also found out my tent isn't as waterproof as it used to be. Need to fix that.

Yikes! What were you doing out in that?
    It was predicted.
Tomorrow through the weekend should be much better.

I thought the new shower house at price lake was open but it is not. They are shooting for the 24th...just in time to winterize it.
