So my rear rotor is due for replacement (not warped, just under the wear limit) and it just blows my mind that a fixed rotor can cost almost $200 everywhere I look. Also, a lot of places seem to list a change in the rear rotor, i.e. a rotor for 2004-2005 and then one for 2006+. I have a 2005.5....where does that fall? And does anyone know what the actual differences in the rotor were?

Seems like the 990 floating rotor is also an option, but I keep hearing the rivets in those are toast after 10k miles, and they aren't any cheaper, so I'm looking to stay solid if possible.

Get a Galfer. My stock one with 6k miles on it after the haul road was destroyed. Have 18k on my Galfer and it still looks brand new. Hth
