Here's another out of Kelowna BC. Added 3rd mount, plus available in custom colors to match your Adventure. He also builds one for the 950 SE

Sorry, don't have video. The pic, where I'm sure some of the damage happened, is in this thread in an earlier post above. I didn't realize it was tweaked until I tried to put it back on the bike months later after an oil change.

I used a pipe wrench to twist the front and rear of the skid plate. In doing so, I broke the weld on the piece that has the front mounting holes in it; you know how you bend a piece of metal back and forth until it breaks? I contacted Charlie and he offered to fix it for me, even though the damage was clearly not his fault, but I decided to live with it. The crack in the weld doesn't go all the way across, so when it breaks all the way, I'll probably just buy another one.

I picked up the Slavens Racing plate. I think it is the best combo of quality & value.

Got one of Pete's beauties (the original I think - he's moved onto 690RRs) having used the BDCW bashie for a few years without any issues. I'm not sure if he's still doing them but we should be getting the weight off these big bikes, not adding to it with massive bashplates and crashbars? The other Aussie making seriously good ALU Rallye bashplates is Matt at Rock Hard Rally Gear: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=806155 No affiliation with either except for beers with Pete. People on this forum used to be able to take a joke. Lol.

I imagine your friend nailed that rock pretty dang hard. I've had some super tough hits and came out unscathed.my biggest beef with the stock plate is it holds mud too much. Cleaning it is a pain. Aftermarkets look easier to flush out.

Now who makes the best cup holder? Y'all. :rofl

    Funny.

Whenever you post I hear banjo music, and I feel bad for poor Ned Beatty.

Your club also plays the Banjo and watches Toy Story 3!
