Just wondering if anyone can tell me how links my chain needs to be to accommodate 16/47 gearing. Thanks

I don't know for sure, but I just swapped my gearing over on my current bike from stock gearing to 16/45 and the eom chain is adequate... Though you need to orientate the adjustment blocks in the rear to allow the wheel to move further back...

I still have adequate chain slack to accommodate fully loaded off road riding...

Though In the past on a different 950 ordered lower gearing sprocket and chain kits and I think it came with a longer chain?....

I always order the standard length 120 link and cut to fit

Yeah, I think you'd want two more links.

go with what ever your old chain was with 17/45....there is enough room for adjustment.
