    Hi,

One issue I hate most from SE is each time I want to clean the air filter, you know, remove tank or tilt, unscrew cover and back agin. So, an action that must be done almost each "on any sunday" when offroading become horrible.

My question to the Rotweiller filter owners: Can you remove the filter without removing the series tank or the Safari tank? In pictures I can see a gap, together with no tools needed, I bet that the answer is positive, but would like to get your experience.

    thx

Like Jonno stated, I can easily remove the seat and gain access to Rotty air filter without removing my fuel tank, I run a PC filter skin that help keep my filter clean.

easy to do with the safari tank as well. I just put on latex gloves to reach in there to unhook/remove everything, as it keeps the filter goop off my hands but yes it's easy.

the ability to service the air filter on the SE w/o removing the tank is worth the money alone for the Rotty… I just use skins over mine.. takes about 2 minutes to pull the seat, pull off an old sock, put on a new sock, and then put the seat back on. of course add time if/when you must service the entire filter and remove it, but if you're using socks you can significantly decrease how often you need to remove the entire filter..which as others said, can still be done w/o removing the tank.

Lots easier to service etc,no doubt you will be more than impressed with the performance side of things when fitted, you can go riding all day and be back before lunch.

Half an hour is still too much. You dear little mermaid live almost under the sea and have no problems with dust.:fyyff

Where to put the Facet out of original location?
