I rode my Superenduro after standing still for 11 months today. There is one thing really different from a year ago; a lot of explosions out of the exhaust during when closing the throttle.

Anybody any idea how this is possible?
And what I can do to make it normal again? Thanks!!

    Bad fuel?
11 months is long enough for it to go off, and start to varnish the carb.
So run a bottle of redex through it (or another brand of carb/engine fuel cleaner)

Very nice! I have been trying to buy a SE but am having problems. I don't think I have ever worked so hard to spend money :lol3. If I can't get one this would be my next choice.

Welcome aboard at last, now you wont keep asking to take mine out :) mate your old bike was well tricked but in reality you know you were just trying to make it an SE :rofl

The only mods you need is a side stand re-locator, decent tyres, set up the suspension and then ride it like you stole it... The rest is personal choice, obviously epc and SAS, I have yet to do mine and its plenty enough as is, so, not essential.

What Adventure parts fit the 950?
From what I have found LC8 engine is pretty much the same but different gears and stroke, oberon clutch slave is the same and your bling bit will fit :) It has 2 fans already so you don't need an aux fan kit etc. Personally I would just treat it as a completely different bike and start again. Strip your old bike to standard and sell the bits.

When are you bringing her round then?

Mine has always done that, even after spending $800 to get the carbs inspected, valves adjusted and engine checked by a professional racer.

But how did correct it? What did you do to let it run smoothly again?

Yes everything is off. It could be 11 month old Moroccan fuel in the carbs but I filled it up with fresh fuel and it exploded still after 4 kilometers when I returned back home.

11 mo is a long time... might need to pull the carbs. But I would also check the vent that drops under the airbox and sits between the cylinders. Mine was pushed up against another hose at one point and the bike ran like shit.

Yes and it has always popped on deceleration. Unless I change factory settings to richen it up it will always do it.

Mine is desmogged with Akra's ... Stock jetting with needle clips in 3rd position.

It doesn't pop - it just Rumbles on decell with no throttle.

    Purfect :clap

Stock bikes are very smooth, but nowhere near as fun as their well breathing, well exhausting siblings.
