Hi all.. I have an 07 990 Adv. All stock with the exception of a Uni pre filter and 17/45 sprockets. I have had this issue since I have owned it. from 3K to current 20K miles and before the Uni and gearing change.

In 4th gear at about 4K RPM if I'm holding the throttle steady and then roll it on slowly it has a hesitation. Not really a bog but just doesn't go all that smoothly. A flat spot is what I call it for lack of a better description. It is only annoying if I'm going into a turn and it does it then the bike will want to tip over into the turn. It goes away pretty fast if I just keep on the throttle and runs perfect other than that.

Any thoughts on what could be up?

    Thanks... :ear

Common 06/08 990 stuff. Tuneecu can help you. (but you've got alot of reading to do.)

Have seen them in the 16s lean there. And 11s at 2500. Mapping is what you need!
