Bought a new 2013 Baja and it comes with the European light switch but on the off position the lights are still on (might be a Canadian gov regulation). So my question is anybody fixed this already??? Or if you guys can help me with an electrical diagram. Cheers

The Baja might have a different hookup to the European switch because of the LED lights it comes with.

On mine the switch is just for the LED driving lights... LED lights always on, only on with hi-beam, or always off. I think the headlight is always on and can not be turned off for a day time running light safety reasons.

Exactly ...but I want to have them off too for heavy offroading when to two fans are always on and I spend lots of time in first gear. (Rubicon stuff where I had to take my fuse out)

I installed the KTM led light kit on my '08 990 and the main headlight light is always on for US and apparently Canadian bikes too. I haven't modified the wire harness yet to turn off the headlight, maybe a winter project.

Also, did you know the lights have a button on the back of them for high/medium/ low light settings.

Not a direct answer but it might apply:
I just wired a control switch in series with the relay heating up my sorta stock US headlight Try looking for a similar adaptation of your switch.

An interesting thing: my high beam indicator on the dash ( small blue light ) lights when the headlight is off. Kinda kewl actually. Haven't looked at schematics to figure out why.
