Not sure if you are referring to 990ADV or 990SD. But they are fairly similar.

    That's a great guide.

    A few notes:
He didn't spec the factory screw to replace the brass nipples on one side. I prefer the factory bolt/washer and not a home depot special, have always used the bolt/washer from EU cylinder head on 450/690/990's. Use locktite.
Bolt + washer, P/N's here (need 2x ea):

    0603061001 CU SEAL RING DIN7603-6x10x1

Or, some people use a section of hose to connect the 2 brass nipples together and that might prevent surging. I suspect the surging issues people talk about are more likely from using the hodo bolt without a washer?

1/2" vacuum cap for the airbox.

Part number for the female plug side of the SAS vacuum pump plug.

Leave the reed valve behind the SAS block off plates.

Appears most cut the plug off the air pump and re-use it. Would be easy to solder back in later. I am guessing it is a Sumitomo MT-090-2B, will have to look closer later.

Awesome, thank you. It's for a 990 Adventure R by the way...and yes, I am doing the SAS at the same time.
