Please can someone let me know if there's a 990 repair / workshop manual available on-line. I have a manual for the 950, but need some information regarding the 990 motor.

    Thanks, Rupert

    eBay maybe?

I wouldn't expect any links to "free" downloads.

The current manual that covers all LC8 motors to date is not a lot of money from a KTM dealer.

Owners manuals with quite a bit of info on settings etc is a free download from KTM website.

As peanuts mentioned the owners manual is pretty good, but if you want a true whole manual that goes deep into the details, ie... complete tear down and rebuild, tolerance specs, torque specs, etc... The disc that you can buy from the dealership, about $30 bones is well worth the money spent. I doubt you will find a free download of one though. Good luck.

I have the repair manual for the 950 Adventure and the 690 Enduro, and I have the spare parts of the 990 SMT.
    If you're interested ...

I may be interested in the 990 parts. Perhaps you would like to send me an email with a list of the parts and prices.

Exactly, what a douche (the eBay seller). Why steal it for $10+ shipping when you can buy a legit NEW copy for <$25?

I think a factory manual should be included with any bike you buy. Period.. The last couple of bikes I bought I worked that into the deal for myself as well.

Are we talking about the same kind of manual? A service/repair manual is what I looked for... I personally don't think any manufacturer should *necessarily* provide one with every bike it sells. Unless you refer to the bike owner's manual (which states a few technical details...but is much less comprehensive on the servicing side) which of course comes with the new bike and which I already had with the purchase of my KTM. If you negociated an actual service manual for free, then it gives many ideas to all of us... !

Back a few years ago, Husky manuals were available in full online. I thought that was great.
