That weekend is open for me this year. Only issue is the 250F is in full on dirt mode. I'd have to change the tires to DOT knobs which I have, change the rear gearing which I have so it is only time and labor to get that done. The other issue and I am not to sure if I need it is a larger gas tank. I have one I used in Moab a 3 gal IMS. I hate the thing though and it is hard as hell to put on due to pump swapping sensor swapping and radiator shroud guard swapping. Once I returned from Moab I promptly took the awkward POS off because it made the bike strange off road at the Satartia riding camp. Stock tank is tiny though only 2 gals. I do have a small wolfman tank bag that will hold 2~22 oz MSR bottles. I'm afraid with the small stock tank I won't be anything but a thorn in everyone's side with fuel range on the thing. Remember it is a full on dirt bike first and foremost and was never intended to be a dual sport. It gets about 60 miles or so on the stock tank, barely did 100 miles on white rim trail in Moab with the extra 2 MSR bottles and the 3 gal IMS tank. It is street legal so to speak:Dmeaning it has a MS license tag and a functional brake light.:lol3

A memory refresh of what bike I am talking about. It ain't slow as most 250s but it won't do highway very good either. :lol3 Off road though it rips!:-) btw stock gas tank in under the seat. :baldy

Roy, you should be fine with that tank. I'll carry a small siphon hose with me in case a little extra is needed.

I wouldn't worry too much about a tag.

I would love to make the rally this year. I had a great time at Rigby Farm a couple years ago. And the videos from last year, in the new location look awesome. Unfortunately, I have a prior obligation that weekend . And I don't really have the bike for it anyway.
    Maybe next year.

No problem. I used to work in public schools so I've been called a few wrong names.

Looking forward to the ride. I made it to one Don't Fall at Rigby's place.

hmmmm this seems interesting but it coincides with the Bean Festival in Mountain View on the same weekend.

Maybe I do a little of both

Are there places to hang hammocks on that nice looking overlook camp spot?

And is there a place to install one of those semi portable brass dance poles? Because I think Albie is coming too.
