That Canyon de Guadalupe has intrigued me for years as a camping spot to park for about a week and relax. I'm trying to learn more about it. Internet? Food supply? Fire wood? I have to dig back into my links. My past research is a bit fussy.

All I wanted to do was lay in the hot spring for a while, enjoy the scenery and get some sleep - so I really don't know what else is available there, but it sure seems like a good place to relax for a while. I think you can find some more info easy enough if you Google it.

Thanks, I just added those Coordinates into my Garmin for an up coming trip.
How far from turn off to camp spot? Not planning on camping but a quick dip in some hot springs sounds good for a mid day break.

Thought you all would get a kick out this video in Quadalupe Canyon.
I call it the "Donkey Rodeo"
    This was in January, 2013

Good story by the way------thanks for reminding me what was in Laguna Hanson---I've been there------but forgot about the cabins.

It's about 8 miles in after you turn off the Laguna Salada dirt road. 35 miles total on dirt from MEX-2 to Canyon de Guadalupe camping area.

Thanks BigDog .... nice donkey vid. :lol3 Fortunately, I had no donkey problems when I was there.
