Well, after exploring Eugene, Cottage Grove, and a couple other places the wife and I have decided to be efficient. Instead of living inland and going to the coast to play, we will just live on the coast. Saves gas and time.

Florence will be my new home and playground. Once I get settled anyone who wants to come play and use my place as home base will be more than welcome, as long as you show up with beer.

Thanks to the Eugene inmates for helping me out. You were a huge help, I just came to realize that I am not a city or mountain boy, gotta be near the ocean.

Hmmmm, let's see...Corona, Fat Tire, Killians, just no Bud, Schlitz, or Hamms. Do they still make Hamms?

Florence, eh? Florence has a higher concentration of Medicare beneficiaries than Florida. :deal

There are so many good Oregon made beers you shouldn't ever need to buy any of the beers on that list :freaky

A large population of Medicare beneficiaries is much much better than the large population of welfare beneficiaries that I live around now.

Plus a town with a large geriatric population replenishes itself more frequently, and there are a large number of estate sales.

Very few geriatrics can steal my bike as most have such bad hips they cant get their leg over the bike to steal it.

No worries about geriatrics darting out in front of your car or bike....they can no longer dart.

I have yet to meet a geriatric with a huge sub-woofer in the back seat of their car, so I don't have to worry about listening to their gangsta rap in the middle of the night.

The geriatric group is more likely going to have some quality herb, but less likely to have any meth at all.

See, it's all in how you look at it.

See how long I have been gone from Oregon? I forgot about all the microbrews. Now I am even more happy to be coming back.
