Edit: After doing some review of the paperwork from my freight forwarder and the differences between it and the KTM parts paperwork I now believe the package may have been damaged on the way to the freight forwarder and parts lost from the box that way.

Well I received an order from ktm-parts.com late last month to do a rebuild on my 950. Went to make a start on putting it together after receiving some other stuff from ktmtwins.com, of the 31 different parts I ordered (with various qtys), 7 where missing from the box, despite being marked of the paperwork.

Lousy attention to detail, one or two items, but 7? Not so worried about the money it is about $200 worst comes to worst I will raise a credit card dispute, but the inconvenience is really bad. Hopefully the local bearing suppliers can help me.

Just be glad you didn't order from KTMCyclehutt. You would still be waiting.

What did they say when you called them?

You made at least 7 spelling errors in your public bashing of some of the few parts suppliers we have left.

"Lousy attention to detail, one or two items, but 7?" :lol3

Hey, he's honest "Cranky Bastard" :D

Personally, always best to call first before posting. Also I always check whats in the box against what I ordered as soon as I receive. Waiting a month just makes things difficult.

    Munn Racing.

I have had him call me back personally after placing the order to let me know stuff was on back order and give me the option to wait or have him send out what he had now, he paid for the shipping on the back ordered stuff.

I only order my KTM stuff from him after having tried others.

Being halfway around the world I e-mailed rather than called. No response so far.

Yes I have learnt my lesson about checking when I get them.
The box was a little crushed, but was well sealed with no visible openings.

I have would posted regardless of outcome, the point was about their orignal stuff up which is rather large, if their rectification is unsatisfactory I was post a follow up.

And I said a little jacked off, it not a complete rant.

Look at your paperwork again. The receipt will show all items ordered but anything backordered will have a checkmark in a different spot indicating the B.O. I've had items backordered from those guys before, and my card was not charged for them until they were shipped. I don't know what you're missing, but I imagine that no dealer is going to have a complete LC8 engine in parts in stock. One of their service guys is a regular on here, maybe he can shed some light?

No all marked as supplied, both printed on the order and circled with a biro. The response I have received was to stick my e-mail in their call logging system and to mark it as resolved mmm not so good. I have reopened the call, but hold out little hope, have already ordered the parts with an alternate supplier. It looks it is off to Mastercard I go to raise a dispute.

Was this thread about missing parts and a lack of follow up customer service - or grammatical errors? Pity your not working at the supplier, then this thread would not have existed.....:baldy

apparently it's about throwing around insults and slander towards a well-known supplier with a good reputation without bothering to give them a chance to rectify the situation before the original posting.
