It was very cold in winter time in the Northern Part of China, such as Beijing where I lived in. So to ride in South was a good choice for the maniac who will get sick if he could not ride.:lol3 :lol3

Usually, I was not quite busy at end of the year, so I asked one of my best friends ZhouBapi to go to Shangri-La, Yunnan province with me.

NOW, the Ride is ON!!!:evil :evil :evil

Because of the weather and the time, we decided to ship our motorcycles by train from Beijing to HeFei, Anhui province.

We went to the warehouse very early, and put our motorcycles in a Van first. And the dirver transfered the bikes to the platform of the railway station.

After settle down the MCs, we got on board. I was the only strange passenger on train travle with two motorcycle pannier cases.:D :D

Travle on train with me helmet on would make me feel safe, hahah:wink:

When we arrived on No.T60 train, our friend YunFengke was there waiting for us already:clap :clap He works for the rail way station of Hefei, so he helped us with picking up the bike.

RenWoxing came with his small red spark.
It's so good to meet all these good fellows.:freaky

The world sometimes is small for riders.

After several coners, we got to Sofit Hotel where we used to live in 2006, and what's more, we came across with Garfield Mao from Shanghai:huh :huh :lol3 :lol3

He was on his trip to Yunnan as well, but we were of different agenda and different route.

Wo took a picture, we started to ride.

R1200GS Adv----Louis, R1150RT----Zhoubapi, R1150GS----ShangHai Garfield Mao, Between 2 R1150GS----Jim Young, the ower of the R1150GS Adv on the right. The other 3 guys were Damo, Laoren and LaoZheng.

Jim was free, so he would ride with ZhouBapi and Me for 2 days.

I stopped at a motorcycle dealer to get my brake shoes changed. It's called Qianjiang motorcycle, one of the biggest motorcycle company in China, selling over 1,000,000 per year.(most of them are 125cc ones)

Laoren and his wife drove his small sparky leading us to ShuCheng----suburb of Hefei City, and we had Hui flavor sunny lunch there.

When the old friends got together, we talked and enjoyed, and we forgot the time!:eek1 :eek1

We had to continue with the trip! GOGOGO!!

When we reach AnQing, it was around 15:30. A ticket cost 3 Yuan RMB ferried us to the other side of Changjiang River. It's cheap for the big GS:D :D

When I finished the wonderful route of Southern part of Anhui, I blamed Laoren a lot!!:nono

I had been to Anhui for about 7 or 8 times, it was not untill this time, Laoren showed me this wonderful route!

    BUT

It was the wrong time: he forgot to remind us to start early in the afternoon, but chat with us after lunch. Therefore, when we got the Shimen----where the beautiful scenery had just start, it was getting dark! If we stop to take photoes, for sure, we would ride a lot further in completely dark in the mountain.

It was the wrong season: it was awesome beauty even in this winter time, how beautiful it could be if it was summer or autumn time:eek1 :eek1

Laoren told me later: so you should come and ride again next time:huh

When we arrived in ShiTai, it was completely dark. You could not watch where the road was leading to because you can see nothing eles except the road right in front of the light.

I didn't know how it was like from ShiTai to Qimen, all I knew was after hundreds of corners, we arrived in Qimen quite late with freezing cold air surrounded.

That was our first touring day, from Hefei, the capital of Anhui province to Qimen, which is famous with top quality Chinese red tea.

Although it was South of China, it was pretty cold in the morning.

You may start your trip with a freezing ass:lol3 :lol3

When you started the engine, you had a long horse tail.

Eat to Ride, Ride to Eat. Breakfast was important to a rider.

The scenery of Souther part of Anhui and Northern part of Jiangxi was great!

The rider eqiupment we took was fitting well in Hefei, and it was okay for the morning time here, but when it came to noon time, we felt a little bit hot.

When we travled from Qimen to Yaoli, we enjoyed the beatiful country. Water comes around the hills, everywhere looked green and delightful.
