Great pictures - did you ever find your dayminder?

Gasquet = "gas-key" - there's a great spot to camp above Jedediah Smith - no crowds and you get a view of the morning fog instead of being fogged in (check out my Oregon trip report for pix).

Did you stop at the giant conestoga wagon above Prairie City on your way to/from John Day?

I like all your architectural photos and I like how you snap pix of post offices instead of city signs - I might start doing that, too!

Yes, I found the dayminder. On my way out of town I had stopped at the insurance agent ot verify Proof of Insurance papers. I put the dayminder down to put on my helmet and left the papers in the office. Doh.

I saw the wagon, but kept riding.

My sister ran a small post office, so I got started collecting them a while back. I should do a coffee table book.

I also take pics of flowers, barns, old trucks, tractors, and road art. It's a wonder I get any mileage in at all. :lol3

I started a thread in DayRides called My Idaho. Mostly pics taken locally, within a 100 miles of Moscow, Idaho. This is a lovely part of the Northwest with a wide variety of roads and scenery.

This was the view from the stop by the giant Coney - on an afternoon with a lot of forest fire particulate (hence the dark clouds and pink sky)

It was so gorgeous up there!
