With unexpected delight at being caught short, I found myself relieved to enjoy the release of the fantastic panoramic pleasures of the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Unfortunately at such short notice only four of us could excuse themselves to indulge in such pleasures. :wings

On a clear mild morning we met at Windy Point lookout & leisurely meandered south for our manditory morning tea destination.:rayof

Making good time on a mix of winding flowing tar & dirt through Sheoak Log; Crafers; Scott Creek and skirting of the Mount Bold Reservoir to the Clarendon Bakery, we found it hadn't opened yet :(:

The roads were smooth & easy yet slippery as we floated & drifted on over the ball-bearing type surfaces, keeping alert as our hunger and enthusiasm grew with each kilometre until we reach a point where we were actually ..............................

and on landing? ........................... "I really love that comfort seat :raabia of mine" :lol3

With our Fox Creek Wines support vehicle close by, the lads considered it appropriate that the order of the day had to be the delicious Mount Compass upmarket gourmet "Venison Burger"

plus extras of course hey Jase & Mike? :lol3

After indulging of fine food & etc , we continued south along the ridges, stealing every opportunity to glimpse the vistas and often experiencing heart flutters when timing a corner wrong :eek1

As an avid "bird" lover, l enjoyed "Twitching" at every opportunity (well that's my story & I'm sticking to it :augie

Is Kangaroo Island on the horizon for a future ride, boys?

"You mess with me I'll take ya to court!" :lol3 ............................ will ya ? ......................... please! ..... please !!!!!

On top of Kemmiss Hill was our final "Panoramic Pi.." stop

Looks like another good ride MB, I wished I had seen this as I would have come along too.

My fault for not keeping a closer eye on up & coming rides on ADV Rider.

    Cheers, Sol..:thumb

Near slicks at the moment according to Jase :lol3 which makes life interesting, but that's after 25k kms from the fronts & over 12k kms from the rears.

    Fronts: IRC GP110's
    Rear: Heidenau K60's

Get the TDM you won't be disappointed advNZer
