We camped at Sleepy Hollow campsite near Crolly, Co.Donegal. Its a small site set in natural woodland. They made us very welcome..

After a grand night in the pub we split up for home. I took a longer route as I wanted to see Fanad head lighthouse on the Fanad peninsula.

Great pics. I spent a few days camping on the great Blasket Island off the southwestern coast. Beautiful country.

Beautiful Indeed! And with a tidal range like that you could get to Wisconsin without a single lock! Dave

    Absolutely beau-ti-ful, Terry! :clap

Glenveagh National park has always been my favourite although I have only been there on foot in the past.

I think a visit to Oireland may be on the menu soon... :ricky

Cheers Famous, I'm sure Maroc would have been fine but the request not to go came from the "Higher authority" Thinking long term there's no point heading off and leaving her fretting at home.

ChubbyThumper, I also am in Co Antrim and have just bought a 990 Adventure Dakar Edition...... I didn't realise that Donegal had so much to offer.

My parents have a love of the place, spending most weekends in their static caravan up there. I really do hope to get some miles done on the new bike in places like you have shown us.

    I can't wait!

Great pix! :thumb The bike profiles with the ocean in the background are brilliant!
I had no idea Ireland had any mountains! But I'm not too smart.
    Have fun.
