Thanks for that link,
I know Davo's chasing to get something done,
but I'm going to need lots this done to, :huh
enough to contemplate buying a handyman sized cabinet :eek1
maybe if this mob has decent rates I might consider them
Who's heading up to the 'Alpine' on Friday?
Probably head up about 1400 from Yass
Given the current weather I reckon you could stay at home and the "Alpine" will come to you........
...but I digress. I'm thinking (a slow process, with interruptions for tea breaks) I might show on Sat night, but I have to score a new sleeping bag first (my old faithful decided to give the zipper short shrift at the WTC in Vic last weekend).
We'll see. I live in hope.
No excuse, just get there you slack old shit,
should be good weather, frost maybe?
I reckon after the chat with you today you already were wimping out.... unless you plan on taking consuming a few there
I'm planning on doing a day trip, trying out this new to me DR, aka tractor...
That's the spirit, unlike some old sooks I won't mention [eh Tom ]
Hopefully be a good roll-up, need to support all rallys if possible,
Old? Wimping?:ddog C'mon poofters, you can do better than that.
I'm having coniptions at the price of sleeping bags. I only want to sleep in one, I didn't know I needed to bring a cash dowry too. And I'll bet any money that the goose didn't see a red cent from the down filling either.
I'm interested in one that's on special after the weekend, typical eh. Like Malcom said, life wasn't meant to be easy.
Or cheap either, it seems.
Excuses, excuses, excuses - that's all I hear, oh well, no bonding with nature for you old son
We'll be thinking of you while having a great time out there, might even take my tent this time!
I'm on my phone and can't find the little violin smiley,
Even a day trip Tom, maybe you can have a laugh at my expense riding the DR for the first time...
Would he laugh at your misfortune?, jeez - I'd pick new playmates to tag along with
I'll probably just tootle over on Saturday for a giday. Maybe....
Ah, what happening dude? :huh
You suffering from excess work or that bloody knee giving you the pain? :eek1
Trying to talk Strudy into doing his first 'Alpine' !
I might see if I can do the same ...
Where is it ... ?
Bit of both mate. Otherwise all's well.
Its over the other side of the Brindies from us mate. Brindabella Valley, about an hour or so riding time depending on speed . Probably be leaving Yass about 10-10.30 o'clock or so if for keen for a spin. I can firm up the times if your up for it.
P.S. Here's a link to google maps. This is the turn off to the rally.
I've decided that I will do a day ride up to the Alpine rally. Mnt Creek/Brindabella rd up - Wee Jasper forest road and the trig on the way home.
Leaving 1030 sharp Yass Caltex Comur street. Should be a lovely day for it.

Thanks Fati - I'll try to get there by 10:00, but go without me if not - Sat morning a bit uncertain.
In case running late, looking for good directions - the web says: Brindabella Valley on the eastern side of the Goodradigbee River, approx 8kms from the CBR-Tumut road.
I'm assuming that the CBR-Tumut Rd is the Brindabella Rd? And that if I get to the bridge (@Crace rd) I've gone too far?
If that's all correct, is the turn off close to or between any other known turnoffs? For example (coming from CBR side), past Blue Range Rd? Past Piccadilly?
Will there be a sign on Brindabella Rd?
Just get to Piccadilly - then head down to the valley, as you get to the bottom of the valley, it opens up & the turnoff is not far away on your left - coming from that direction [heading west]
Head down that road [be a bit of flood damage], you'll go through several properties [past Brindabella Station], eventually you'll cross a small wet creek, about 1 - 2km from there, but it should be sign posted by Saturday.
Thanks Baza - should be no probs.
I'll be in there somewhere, riding 'White Beast', not 'Kenny'
Watch out for that mad mob from Vic, Doonie & crew are coming in from Tumut side
