    Hi,
I'd like to spend few days around Lake George and have me and my wife riding around on nice scenery road.
Gravel is not the target, but some won't hurt.
I'm searching on ADV, thanks for your advices

I would suggest County numbered routes in Essex County (at the north end of Lake George)

I found a bunch of track named Rutland Loop (north, south, east), I guess that's what you suggest... I'll try them

Don't go anywhere near the Central East Adirondacks during Americade if you want to ride in something other than a slow moving, foot dragging, clutch slipping, poorly jetted/eyes watering parade of straight piped "rugged individualists".

The Eastern 'Daks in general is beautiful, but from where I'm sitting (my unique perspective, mind), there's too damn many people there in the summertime. Explore the rest of the Adirondacks and just pick a road...any road.

My 2 cents worth 30 north of northville, 73 out of lake placid cant hurt if you can fit any of that into your plans and take a ride up whiteface memorial highway.

Stay off the State numbered highways and on the County roads helps avoid traffic

heres a link to a 160 mile loop starting and ending in Crown Point that I can recommend

    http://goo.gl/maps/4TRIl

this loop will allow you to take in Whiteface

I plan to head up to Niagara for one day and spend at least a day or two in the Adirondacks. Anymore suggestive routes? I've been following my national scenic highway and byway book and it suggests to take 3 from Saranac Lake down to Speculator by way of 30, 28, and 30.

    Yes, nice road everywhere...

Sorry Brumbear, we did not show up... we arrived late and wife felt too tired/shy.
We get the rain on Sunday and finally left the the place on Monday instead of spending another day on site
