Another update: I added a feature to pull in archived Photobucket photos from the Web Archive into threads where Photobucket nuked the original photos. This won't work for all threads, but when it does work, it restores threads with lost pictures to their former glory! Here it is in action:

    Before:

    After:

Again, this won't work for all threads/pictures, but it will work for some. As with the other features, ADV+ will remember if you've restored the photos in a certain thread and will automatically show the restored pictures when you revisit that thread. You can also revert back to the original version of the thread by clicking the "Fix PB Images" button again.

    Enjoy!

@jlevers You sir rock. I really missed this feature. Some ride reports (especially) attract a lot of feel good stuff. This makes following so much easier.

    Just stumbled on this thread.
    Quick install and works, period.
Better than vanilla choco Icecream and a cherry on top!
Thank you. This will keep me on ADV longer, as I've been getting
a bit frustrated trying to read RR.
Now go work on an a traffic solution in the real world... primary feature: toggle cagers ON/OFF

SOOOO glad to see this. Tried it and it work great. Then decided to deactivate it and couldn't do so. I notice that ADV Rider is running very slowly right now...maybe thats the cause?

Glad the extension is proving useful to everyone!

Happy to hear it started working again. The site was running really slow for me too...As you said, I'm guessing that was the issue.

Never one to be satisfied with anything, my browser of choice is Firefox. Is there any hope of adding this extension to Firefox? If not, I'll go away and shut up.

It probably won't be added to Firefox in the near future, just because publishing an extension on Firefox is a lot more difficult than on Chrome (at least in my limited experience). But if there ends up being a lot of interest in having this on Firefox, I'll make a Firefox version. (Whoa, that was a lot of Firefox's!)

Also, just fixed the pictures from the latest update -- I'm hosting them on Google Photos but forgot to make them public, so they were showing up for me but no one else. Whoops...

Im good using Chrome...its worth it to fire up a Chrome browser if theres a RR I really want to spend some time reading. In any event, thank you very much for doing this.

I removed the Photobucket fix from this extension, because I created another extension that fixes the images on any webpage without the user doing anything, and also works on every single picture, not just some. You can read the post on that extension here. Ride safe!

Bad ass. I'll definitely add this extension to my pc. Thanks for the insight and effort.

    Very nice, thanks!

Could you change the button color or something to show that a thread is toggled or not?

Well, is it normal that, on a multi-pages thread, you have to click on every pages to see if the OP posted something on the said page?

The add-on doesn't shrink the thread but only hide everyone's post but the OP's, right?

It actually does change -- it gets a more 3D look when the button is toggled on. It changes from this:

    To this:

    Hope that helps!

Correct, you'll have to click through to each page. It would be a way, way more complicated fix to shrink the thread.

Hey guys, just made a Firefox version of the extension, since I just switched to Firefox. (The new version, Firefox Quantum/Firefox 57 is really as good as they say!) Here's the link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adv/

If there are any issues please let me know!
