Very nice. How about a pic of the other side? Is the front end from a G650xchallenge?

That is indeed very nice... if it had a round headlight it would be near perfect!

Hey prutser. Nice bike! Was my understanding that the x challenge triple is plug and Play? Is this true or did you have to modify??

    Hey Hardwaregrrl.

The X Triple Should fit with some small mods. But i only used the fender ,headlight and hub.
I used Kite triple clamps to go with the fork dimensions.(a WP48mm)

And I made a new stem.

The X fork would not be a real big improvement.

:clap Good to see that thing getting used in far off lands. Nothing worse than getting all dressed up and having nowhere to go. That original tank got you through Siberia without any problems? I don't remember getting much more than a 120 miles out of that thing before reserve. A fine creation you have there. I dig the soft luggage. I think I'll be heading that direction too. Any detail shots of the longer swingarm? Where'd the center and side stands come from?

Hey Prutser, your bike really looks like a properly set up adventure ST!! I'm jealous, but my bike certainly suits my needs for now. Just need new rings and a hone...

Mark, I did have the seat rebuilt and recovered before I had the gas tank cover made. thx!

Damn, I am glad I started this ST registry all that time ago, it has turned into a fun and interesting thread, thank you all.

I may also have some R80ST news, as it seems I have won another ST for no money, as in really "NO" money..... more details to follow soon...

...no money YET. Perhaps no money in its acquisition, but I'm betting it'll find a way to separate you from a portion your "dosh," as you islanders call it. :D
