Try GS Heaven of Malaga www.gsheaven.com though there are others in Andalusia (where Malaga is) that rent bikes. Googles your friend. There are even some trail riding bike hire companies that include accommodation. You could easily spend a month in Andalusia, so much to see and great roads to ride. It will be hot when you plan to visit, up to 40 degrees.

I was in Barcelona last summer - best least kep secret in Europe IMHO

If you want to hit Madrid, I just got a list of the best tapas bars there from an Iberian Airlines flight attendant I can send you.

Just about nobody does over there...not on the mainland, anyway.
Market is oriented towards main US/UK clientele....they all want 1000cc plus.

i know its a bummer.... theres little offroad here.... and the pyrennes has a fair bit... any 250 dualsport would do the trick... no need for speed really

There is a rental place called www.bmwmotohire.com based near Malaga , Spain. You can pick up bikes in Bilbao, Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, and Malaga. It is run by a Brit named Mark Comey so he probably understands the Kiwi language. He also has a rental property in the countryside near Malaga in Teba, I believe. His prices seemed to be the most reasonable of all the places that I researched.
