Finally had something to hook the ADV rider flag to. I know some don't like something fluttering on their bike but w/ this holiday weekend and the traffic etc it was great to have something stand out and perhaps catch people's eye.

2 days after getting my New ADV stickers and my Jesse boxes a woman on a cell phone runs a stop sign and made me F-up my bike ,( She did not stop) almost $7000.00 in damages, not including the stickers, could not get the Ins. guy to pay for them.

used some of the money for a 450 exc so my new stickers came in to day to put on the bike, When I get the 990 up and running I order some more for it.

These are not really good on a helmet as they will crease.. helmets have compound curves and the small decal will crease.. In order to avoid this, one needs a sticker designed to fit on compound curves.

I was able to use a hair blow dryer and heat the small sticker up a bit and get it to work without a crease. I started with the very center of the sticker and just warmed it up and it worked okay. The sticker was a little out of shape in the end but you could hardly notice since it is on a curve anyway.

I don't have the helmet anymore and can't find a picture but if you want to try that it might work for you as well.

I was just gonna say, use a heat source, be gentle and opt for the smaller sticker.

Ordered mine yesterday. My husband is the sticker master, uses a heat gun to make them just right.

The small ADV sticker went on the back of my prior helmet (Arai XD) no problem, and no heat gun was needed.

Now I'm rockin' the ADV sticker (and a BARF sticker) on my windscreen:
