    Safe travels mj.

The forecast for today is partly cloudy, high near 80 degrees, and light winds; but it will be a cool evening when the sun goes down.

    See you later.

    Ride safe!

I will be there. What time I can manage to get out of the office will determine if I bring the Ural or the Soccer Van.

If you are bringing the Soccer Van; bring some of the team too. I'm sure we will find a place for them to sit.

Nice photo, Doc! After further review, I'm thinking that's the same woman photo-shopped 11 times. She couldn't have that many sisters who look just like her!:-)

After a two week break, it was good to catch up over dinner. The Buck Hill Brewery came in first in the alphabetical order from the vote taken a couple of weeks ago. Lots of choices for special suds and the place was not as crowded as the last time. The food was tasty, but the service was a bit slooooooow. Special parking for motorcycles was at the bend in the lot not far from the front door.

The meeting opened at 8:26 pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports.

History: On this day (September 12th)

1609: Henry Hudson explores the river which will eventually bear his name.

1940: The Hercules Powder Plant explodes in Roxbury, New Jersey with 49 fatalities and over 200 injured.

Trivia: This is 255th day of the year with 110 days to go.

1953: John F. Kennedy marries Jacqueline Bouvier in Newport, Rhode Island.

2003: The “Man in Black” passes away.

BTW, if anyone wants to accompany the Gold Wing Restaurant Raiders Association and their assault on Ronks, you should pick up one of these for the shrimp smorgasbord. Some higher end models also come with a sheath for your belt.

The Draught House was very busy, but seating was available at the slab. Ms. Suzy who attended to us earlier in the year recalled our previous appearance and had plenty of confederates to help her out at the bar this trip. The food was good and our resident "Wing Man" gave us a thumbs up on the chicken wings despite the skeleton.

The meeting opened at 8:47 pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports.

    A quorum was available.

History: On this day (September 20th)

1519:Spanish expedition led by Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan sets off on the 1st successful circumnavigation of the globe (Magellan killed on route)

1814 "Star Spangled Banner" published as a song, lyrics by Francis Scott Key, tune by John Stafford Smith.

Trivia: This is 263th day of the year with 102 days to go.

1891: The first gasoline-powered car debuts in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States.

1934 Sophia Loren, Italian actress, born in Rome, Italy.

1973 Billie Jean King beats Bobby Riggs in battle-of-sexes tennis match

2001 In an address to a joint session of Congress and the American people, U.S. President George W. Bush declares a "war on terror".
