Jealous. Sleeping through the prime riding weather to just commute is getting old. But bike commuting is at least entertaining in its own right.
Hope you assholes had a good night

It was exactly one year ago that we had gone to the Lenape Lodge and the venue is still under construction. It overlooks the scenic lake of the same name and the twisties of CR 517 invite you to come in either from the north or the south. The food was tasty, inexpensive, and the suds were cold. By ballot, this is the last of the food locations and we shall now start alphabetically by wait staff/service.

The meeting opened at 8:37 pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports. A response from a former committee chair proclaims "OK" for the sake of nostalgia superseding his old statement of "All is Well."

    A quorum was available.

History: On this day (September 27th)

Old Business: In keeping with the discussion from last week regarding most attractive celebrities, three more were added to the list. Farrah Fawcett, Scarlett Johansson, and Fairuza Balk. Courtesy of some who were not attendance.

New Business: A motion was made, seconded, and passed to make Miller Highlife (the champagne of bottle beer) the official beer of our weekly outings.

The venue had already been chosen for next week by ballot. It will be revealed on Sunday evening as always.

There being no further business to come before the crew, the meeting was adjourned at 9:21 pm.

Still feeling a little under the weather and I had to work late tonight so I won't be able to make it. Shame as I was looking forward to exploring more of the....super secret after dinner nightcap location.

It was a pleasant return to Humphrey's which was # 3 in the order last year. It was a mild night, so we had some time kick tires outside before entering the establishment. The food was tasty and the suds were cold. Ms. Kristina was not in attendance , so we made do with a young fledgling barkeep. The atmosphere was flavored with a middle-aged local crowd, but very quiet for the first open night of the week. In contrast, our choice for a night cap was up the strip at the New Hampton Inn which was cleaned up quite a bit since our last visit with a few local characters holding up the slab and "shooting stick". Unlike our previous exposure, no axillary dust bunnies were observed due to the fact that there were zero "hippie honeys" in attendance.

The meeting opened at 8:33 pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports. All is well.

    A quorum was not available.

Old Business: The selection last week of Miller Highlife as the official beer was questioned as to when it happened. According to parliamentary procedure, it was passed without incident and by the book.

New Business: It was suggested that after 3 absences for illness, a note from your attending M.D. would be required. This was received at the same degree as the WUSS Tax way back when.

It was suggested that since we only have 3 more ballot entries on the docket, we should be thinking of some new restaurants in the coming weeks with consideration of location due to the loss of daylight.

The venue had already been chosen for next week by ballot. It will be revealed on Sunday evening as always.

There being no further business to come before the crew, the meeting was adjourned at 9:14 pm.

It's the weather window and Luigi's is closed on Tuesdays. I'm sure the Box won't mind as it is getting late in the season and they don't serve Highlife.

    Catch you next week.

A return to Luigi's Rancho was quite pleasant without the entertainment that we endured during our first outing. Our favorite waitress had moved on to greener pastures, but the food was ample and fresh. Teriyaki Salmon seemed to be the best choice for dinner, but Miller High Life was a no where to be found. We spent most of time discussing the how picture tags were posted back in the dark ages before smartphones. This led to a smartphone tutorial for the uninitiated.

The meeting opened at 8:16pm with Roll Call and Committee Reports. All is well.

    A quorum was not available.
